Jim, I love the Den. Upin King and the L purpurata x is really nice! Lovey dubby
And - an experienced grower told me about flipping back the Robert's Delight flower parts/ mostly dorsal sepal and petals, when the blooms are sufficiently open. And she advised to water the blooms too, especially before flipping. It does work, if one is patient enough to wait.
