Sadly, chain saws do not work, they come right back from the roots or bits of root left if the stump is dug up. Something like Garlon 3A applied to the fresh stump and often 2 or 3 more times over the months *might* eradicate it. It is a shame such an eveil tree has such a beautiful flower.
