Assuming that your peony is one of the common cultivars, it may be Sherley Temple. It starts as blush and slowly fades to almost white. And it has those carmin strokes. Mine blooms rather late, one of last ones. Shirley Temple has been around for a long time. You could find it practically in all nursery, often unlabeled. Still, it is a beautiful, romantic classic.
