Paul -- if I haven't said so before, I'm very sorry for your loss. Forty-six years is a long time to be married to one person. Bless your heart for spending her final time on earth taking care of her. And for missing her enough to need diversions, after her passing. I think you're a rare and special man.

I had my own family health issues that prevented me from spending time in my Iris beds last year, so this year I'm doing double-duty. I've almost got Iris Lane in order -- although I may not have many blooms next year as most of those Irises needed thinning and/or moving. So most of it is newly planted fans. Oh well -- it'll look great in 2014!!

I just succumbed to the lure of Dee's $3.00 sale -- and ordered ten more. I don't know whether to laugh or cry. I truly do not know where I'll plant them. Oh well -- there's always space around the lilac bush!! Rolling on the floor laughing
