As is usual for my gardening, I planted a small free gift packette of Zinnia seeds along the edge of the garden where the berm ends.
A spot I just never got around to seeding with grass about sixteen inches or so long.

They did not show when they should but I got some volunteer radishes out of the sme patch.
I weed it ever week as it is a weed haberdashery.
WELL, the zinnias showed up, on the very edge of the spot, in two clumps of three or four plants each.
It seems to be a fourth dimension area as carrots re-planted in the berm above it are no show, but another volunteer radish has shown up up there.

With nasty nineties coming soon , I will water the area heavily today or tomorrow.
Other area where zinnias and marigolds are are doing well,.
Not sure if it is related but I have seen one lonely Cabbage Butterfly all summer and that was a month ago, maybe they do not like marigolds and zinnias.
Only bad thing about zinnias, is they do not smell like petunias. Whistling
