Yes, he was quite excited about one or two special ones. I didn't photograph them for fear of inadvertently publishing them. Think of special peachy-apricoty colors. You don't often see that in orientals; the color of Salmon Star comes to mind but what I saw was much much nicer with different distribution of color.

And yes, I would say he is satisfied with his work. He has been at it for 35 years now. Five years ago he hosted a celebration barbeque at his place and lots of people came. I think I have photos from that on Dave's Garden.
