And the Peacock flowers have two different names. I was born in Indonesia and those flower are called Bunga Merak, translated into English=Peacock flowers. So I did research and sure enough it has 2 names!

Common names can get confusing when they are shared by many different plants. Luka lists it as Caesalpinia gilliesii which is now a synonym of
Desert Bird of Paradise (Erythrostemon gilliesii)
Caesalpinia pulcherrima is a different species so not the same plant, as you can see by the different blooms.
