I think its really about your conditions,temps, humidity all year as to whether there easy or not for certain growers because funny you say phrags are easier Ursula because i had some and they never bloomed so i evetually re sold them and got more paphs. My paphs love Autum/winter here and bloom then(it doesnt get very cold here) but they look abit spotty in the summer heat/humidity.

I have a few with buds but they do seem to take ages to grow and open Rolling my eyes.
