Is your Purple Robe thorny, Larry? I miss the old locust tree that I grew up with, thorns and all. It didn't bloom red though, only pale yellow/whitish as I remember.

Isn't it just the strangest year ever for plants?

My Amana banana canna has resumed blooming after a 2 week long hiatus.
