Hi,! I have only a very few Keppel iris, some of his old ones, that are "historic". I'm mainly into "historics", Re-bloomers, and "family-hand-me-downs".The few "new" cultivars I buy are mostly for "theme" beds( I'm starting on "Indian tribes", now). One thing I like to do, and I guess it's silly, is to buy from the hybridizer, if possible. If I want a Hedgecock iris, I buy from Comanche Acres, Spoon iris come from Winterberry, etc. This is sort of impossible for most historics, of course, those guys(and gals) are long gone to the Garden in the Sky! Angel With a lot of the Hybridizers not listing their older intros, or only selling thru other vendors,a person is somewhat limited in where they buy. Keppel has had a LOT of neat intros Thumbs up , and I'm sure I'll get more of them(as they AND I get older, and become "historics"! Whistling )...Arlyn
