I have a few 'favourite' reds... starting with a vintage daylily (Nesmith, 1941), Autumn Red (have had this one for decades)...

I also love American Revolution, but it's so dark, not sure some would class it as a 'red'. But an all-time favourite, absolutely love Bridget... the reds are blood-red but often has a black-velvet overlay.

Chili Sprinkled is red, with yellow toothed edge.

Eviction Notice (new this summer, have not gotten my pics uploaded yet) Love this one!

But for a red you can spot from across the gardens... Jan Zoo. Always stands out, and never water-spots when it rains.
