Thanks everyone! I think I've just been lucky with this one.
Hortica, can you post us a picture of your big plant? Mine has been so upright, I'm having trouble picturing it growing as a ground cover. I understand I can cut the top off and probably root it, that's encouraging, as I have to keep it on the smaller side. What happens to the cut stump? Does it sprout or branch? Just sit there? Wither away?
And Lucy, I'd like to see your hanging plant.
Talavera pots are my favorites, this one is working well.
If it continues to do well, I expect to repot in Spring, trim off the top and remove (and share) a lot of the pups.
Thanks for the comments, I haven't been able to find much about this plant so it's very helpful to hear from others' experience, good or bad.
