I was looking at the guide for zip code 03242 and it makes no sense. The spring strategy for watermelon says to direct sow outdoors May 18 - Jun 1. The fall strategy says to direct sow outdoors May 10 - Jun 9.
Why would you sow the spring seeds later than the fall seeds? What am I missing?
