Annie, you achieve more in your gardens on your own than anyone else I know. Self doubts - throw them out!!! I loved this blog post. Great thoughts for starting the new year.

Mike's sister Bonnie is definitely an all around can-do kind of woman. She is physically strong and able and willing to try anything. A story comes to mind that really epitomizes this. I had been asking Mike for days to move something or other with his skid steer. As usual, he says he will do it but procrastinates about it to no end. He was off working, Bonnie and I were working in my gardens, and that darned thing and the skid steer itself were in our way. I was grumbling about it, but Bonnie got up in that skid steer, fumbled about a bit, got it running, and moved whatever it was out of our way. Go Bonnie!!! But.... then she couldn't figure out how to turn it off. We called Mike, asked, to which the answer was that he had jury rigged a pull string because the regular shut off was broken, found the pull string on the floor by the seat, got the skid steer shut off, and hung up on him as he as asking why, why, why, what are you doing??? nodding

Now I'm sitting here at my computer watching the first snowfall of the season from the wall to wall windows in my turret. I'm feeling nice and cozy, and of course I'm thinking about all the things ahead for my 2024 gardens.
