Ursula, I'd be happy to take pics next yr. of the Cyps. I could get to them now but would have to go through poison ivy and of course there are no blooms I'll see if I can navigate through there with these new knees and see if the remnants would be visible.
I don't suppose these are rare ones but I certainly wouldn't want anyone decimating them by digging them up. It's my hope that the kind of people who live around here wouldn't know a cyp. from a goose egg.
I'd love for other orchid lovers to visit whilst they are blooming but I'd really have to trust them.
The same warning was given to me by the same gardening lady regarding the ginseng. I didn't know there was a market here in the States for ginseng but what do I know.
I can't believe (oh yes I can) how stupid I was for yrs. thinking they were daffodils from an old homestead.
Ok, then. Next yr.
