Beautiful day today. Tons of plants in my garden have dead-leaf-wreaths, the velvets are particularly good at doing that and they're unfortunately my favorites Almost every seedling in the two generations worth I have from 'Exorna' sheds it's outer leaves for the winter. I do have these two little ones which have 'Exorna' as a grandparent and still look good though, they may be too young to show me dead leaves but some of their siblings don't look as clean…





Here's the strong red with dense cilia fringing I've shown here before, looking fantastic as always…

This is a small velvet I'm very excited about, no winter rot, nice caramel coloring, and LOTS of chicks…

here's my best non-nugget yellow, it took a little winter damage but I think it's still passable, do you?
