nature keeps amazing me
tickets are in the $45 range. At least. Used to be at the old convention center in center city Philadelphia. The displays were down the escalator and the view from above was wonderful. And the scent of spring! All the commercial nurseries set their theme gardens around the interior of the space. One stays in mind-a spring thaw with live white bark birch trees and a running brook with large stones for the water to spill over. Information was easily available and the owners of said nursery were there to answer questions. Now it's who can do one better and it's loud and not peaceful. The acoustics are dreadful and the lighting is bad. I haven't been in years. My way of protesting the no discount for Vets and seniors.
