With spring ((hopefully) being just around the corner I have been checking my seedlings to see how everybody is doing and I am pleased to say we are starting to show COLOR!!! Most of them don't look much different than plants already "out there" but as long as they have some color I can sell them at plant sales and the consignment store.
So, I will start with my 2021 seedlings.
Gold Nugget #1 - This is the one that had the nice peachy tones last year. They faded during winter and I am hoping they will come back. Could turn out to be name worthy.
Gold Nugget #2 Has some nice color but not very vigorous so will probably get sold.
Gold Nugget #3 A nice healthy plant that is producing babies and has some nice color but not really outstanding.
Gold Nugget #4 Another healthy plant with nice color so who knows.
Gold Nugget #5 This is all it does. Doesn't grow, doesn't produce offsets, just sit there and changes color. Hanging on to it out of pure stubbornness.
Gold Nugget #6 This one looks better than my original Gold Nugget. Healthy plant, good color and produces offsets. Possibly name worthy.
Jabba The Hut #1 I don't see anything special here and so see some rot. Not good.
