Has anyone ever thought that Muscari (Grape Hyacinths) might just keep voles at bay? I'm thinking, maybe. I have a bed of mixed lilies--pretty good size--about 30 ft by 15 ft with about a 6 in wide, thick, well colonized Muscari border. I've never seen voles or mice tunnels/runways in there after the spring snow melt like I do see in other gardens around here and I'm thinking maybe it's the Muscari. I know about the use of mini Daffs by many people, but I don't have any Daffs in there at all.

Any thoughts?
