Can you see it coming? Yup...we used Dad's screen as the landscape fabric... didn't find out until Dad went to put the new screen up and it looked kinda different...
To me that sounds like an easy mix-up to make... plastic screen and landscape fabric does look somewhat similar. 
Many, mucho, lotsa weed seeds sprouted...for years after the feeders were removed!
