Hi Ann welcome. Neoregelias are easy to care for. Keep warm in bright light...they get their best color in bright light. Don;t water the soil. Put fresh water in the cup (the rosette where all the leaves meet on top) and let in run over into the soil below. Too much water in a potted plant may rot it. If it's warm enough it would appreciate being out on the porch. We have a dedicated Bromeliad forum here if you'd like to take a look. And a pretty much resident expert, @ScotTi
