When we moved to our new house I let the ducks free range like they did at the old house.

They have more room here but insisted on eating my tomato plants down to nothing Grumbling

They have acres to roam on and eat bugs and what not but no they hang out in the back yard and eat my tomato plants. Sad
They are muscovies.

No matter what I did they would eat them.
Why would ducks eat nightshade plants Confused

Guess when I get my orchard going they can be part of that system.
If you would have a mind at peace, a heart that cannot harden, go find a door that opens wide upon a lovely garden.
