This begonia seems to be very sensitive to lower humidity. It did fine on our porch during the summer. I brought it indoors in the fall and located it in our tropical garden on the second floor of our home. Light there comes from a bank of grow lights. The humidity is pretty steady at about 60%. At first the begonia looked like it was thriving, but eventually it began to decline. By spring it was gone. I don't know if light intensity was a factor or not. I suspect I could have grown it successfully in a terrarium, but I wanted to see how it would do in the tropical garden. If you decide to try your hand at growing it, I'd love to know how it does for you and the conditions you provided for it.
