Wierdly, if I select different text sizes in IE7 View menu, I see MORE lines of sig as I go to LARGER text sizes.
As If the mapping between IE7 text sizes and "normal Internet" text sizes were "stetched wrongly" so that IE7 tells web apps that it's small fonts are bigger, than they really are.
LARGEST - 2.9 lines readable
LARGER - 2.5 lines
Medium - - 2 lines
smaller - - 2 lines
(smallest) - - 1.5 lines
I've come to the conclusion that any of us still using IE7 deservers what we get. It's out-of-date and we should move to a "real" browser. No blame to dave: he is smart to make the site compatible with 99.9% of MODERN browsers instead of twisting it like a pretzle to handle Ancient Technology, and probably break the display for the 99%.
