Apples with peanut butter are great.
I also combine apple slices with a little cheese: cheddar or Monterey Jack with hot peppers "Pepper Jack" cheese.
Gala and Fuji are my favorites. We have a fruit stand where prices rnage from 69 cents per pound to $1.26. Supermarket apples start abov e the top of that rn age even in season!
