Magga, thanks for such kind words. I'm glad you have warm memories from your childhood too.

I wonder if you have enough warm days in your climate for the daylilies. The foliage on mine begins appearing in late February or early March, but they don't begin blooming until middle or late May. Then they bloom until August, and sometimes reblooms appear. Maybe you just don't have enough warm days for the entire process.

I am glad they grow for you, though. The foliage itself is quite beautiful.
