I love that foliage combo Zuzu, I don't have too many of those but I really tried hard to make that particular section all work with a variety of color and texture. What you can't see behind the pinkish rose cordyline is the rose 'Jacob's Robe' so the rose pink gets repeated. Then to the left of the cordyline, that euphorbia 'Ascot Rainbow' also has a bit of rose in the leaves and stems. The black leaves are from a dahlia with yellow blooms that have been going for months now.

And that black gets repeated with another euphorbia not shown, 'Blackbird' Euphorbia (Euphorbia x martini Blackbird)
