I understand the frustrations. We have had no power for as long as a week several different times. But temps then were far more tolerable. Days and days of being so cold become more than people can bear. And the very old and very young are much more susceptible to extremes of temperature. If I had an infant in those conditions, or an elderly parent, I'd find it hard to be nice, too. I got cranky from simple things like lack of a hot shower. And some of these folks spent a fortune on generators, but now can't get gas to run them. One lady I saw interviewed had had one piece of pizza 2 days ago, no food since. Some can't get water.

Things that sound stupid or petty to us sitting in our warm homes with plenty of food, become major issues to people lacking the basics. On top of that, many are mourning the loss of family, close friends, income, home and property. I really understand their frustrations for the most part. Shrug!
