I watched a special on what they are calling Superstorm Sandy on Weather Channel last night and I saw day by day pictures as it was covered on TV and that I had missed due to my power outtages.

Long Island still today has massive power outtages that don't look to be fixed anytime really soon. Also same in Jersey Shore and Staten Island. Now Athenea is upon us and News 12 and Weather Channel both are calling it Athenea. I am rather puzzled by the naming of a northeaster. I didn't realize they ever got names. Anyway, 60 MPH wind gusts, 4 foot storm surge tides, rain snow mix, heavy rains, cold weather and MORE (new ones) power outtages expected.
