The trip to the funeral home was rather "interesting". I was told no funeral until 3pm, so any time prior was fine. My friend Jackie went with me...needed to know that there would be laughter in spite of the sadness. Well laughter there was. We got there before 11am and they were about to start a service!!!! Not funny, but it was what it was. We had to walk through the overflow mourners THREE times AND hear what was being said!!!! HELLO...talk about a very poor layout for a funeral home "Short creepy" was the one who handled the paperwork...while he's answering MY questions and explaining things he's looking at JACKIE NOT me??? After all was completed and we were headed home we lost it...much laughter...guess it was one of those "you had to be there" moments. Jackie said "Short creepy" was better suited to a horror movie instead of an old western. Please don't think me flip here, but one really must find the smile where they can.
