Yes -- he had it when I got him. I got him in the winter, when the protozoa are dormant, and he wasn't neurological yet -- so I wasn't aware that there was a problem. It became evident the following Spring. Of course, I didn't know it was EPM -- had never heard of it, in fact. It took me two years and thousands of dollars trying to find out what was wrong. Once correctly diagnosed, I began treatment which at that time cost $1,200.00 for 28 days -- but was supposed to be guaranteed. A month after completion of treatment, he relapsed. I couldn't afford the drugs again, so I began research on alternative treatments for the dissease. I was flying solo -- knew no one dealing with this -- and had to rely on people knowledgeable about homeopathic products for people, not horses. Nevertheless -- ultimately became aware of and then familiar with Colloidal Silver (which was also very expensive) and went with that. Ultimately I learned how to make it myself, so I could afford to give him enough for long enough, and that saved his life. Along the way, thanks to the internet, I connected up with other people in the same situation -- and shared my belief that CS would get the job done, and we started a Yahoo group for the purpose of sharing that information. So -- lots of horses have been saved because of Ben.

West Nile is brutal. You're very lucky to have saved your stallion. IV Colloidal Silver would have worked for him too, FWIW.
Thoughts become things -- choose the good ones. (www.tut.com)
