Thanks again Avedon. I learn something every day. I don't know how much my pocketbook will thank me later on, but I'll be looking through the store over winter. I'll certainly be taking a peek at Earthstar. BTW, I did notice on Bob Selman (Blueridge) that he states that he sprays for rust. However, as one zone 7 grower told me this spring, in order to have the newer hybrids to sell later on, she has to take a chance on rust when she orders from Southern Growers. She let's her winters take care of any new rusters and keeps the new imports separate from her older daylilies (which she sells). Unfortunately, as you know, we didn't have our normal cold winter last year, so things were more iffy then usual from zone 7 growers. Also, if you like some of the Stamile's, Diane's Daylilies in Utah sells them. I've ordered from her before, and although her plants aren't the big Leeks that come from the south, they all grow nicely.....Maryl http://www.dianedaylilies.com/...
