Betja said:Jeff and Elizabeth Salter have posted their Fall 2012 Introductions now, and it looks like they're setting up their Spring 2013 Intros too, although no pictures yet. My favorites of Jeff's fall intros are QUEEN'S TREASURE and TROPICAL FROTHY, and I love all of Elizabeth's -- particularly METRO MARKET and EASTERN INSPIRATION. She has a small tet with a wonderful eye pattern and green throat named QUIET DREAMS too!

Betty, the Salters brought 4 DFs of QUEEN'S TREASURE to today's meeting for auction. The first two DFs went for $75 each and the other two went for $50 each. We did not even bid on any of the auction daylilies. I was going to be good and not buy anything, since we still have daylilies in pots from the last meeting in October that have not been planted. Then, Elizabeth passes out this sheet of Special Sale daylilies (10) just for us today. These were double fans or better for $10, $15, $20 (only 2 were $20, the rest were $10 & $15 each). They brought at least 10 double fans of each. We came home with one of each:
BORDER PIXIE (E. SALTER 2011)
CHARACTER COUNTS (J. SALTER 2009) teeth!
FLAMES OF SUMMER (J. SALTER 2011)
PEACH PIE CRUST (SALTER 2009)
PINWHEEL PRINCESS (E. SALTER 2010)
PUMPKIN AND SPICE (J. SALTER 2O08)
Then they gave everyone the daylily SIMPLY SMASHING as a Christmas gift. (This was our Christmas meeting complete with a most delicious meal of turkey, dressing, an assortment of vegetables and desserts prepared by one our members and a wide assortment of door prizes.) It was a good meeting. I wish everyone could have been there.
