Hi Calin, I looked up your plant, and they are also gesneriads, which is the same family as Streptocarpus, no wonder they look similar Hilarious!
Please do post photos, these plants look amazing and I've never heard of them!
This past summer like I said earlier in this post, I joined the Puget Sound Gesneriad Society, so I meet every now and again with "plant geeks" and they talk away and I understand only a little of what they're saying, but they like having me there, because I treat these plants like house plants and they grow and flower for me Hurray! Hurray!
Totally understand what you mean though about having plants that go dormant so you can have a little break! Rolling on the floor laughing
