Much needed rain in Phoenix today. Only one bloom in the garden with the rain I like to see how a daylily holds up in wet conditions and it seems this one holds well....Living in the desert southwest rain is not as important to me as it is for other that receive a lot more precipitation than I do...

BRIAR PATCH - still no teeth but a nice sturdy bloom..

This is not recommended for collectors or daylily showman, but if you are a hybridizer it is alway good to know what daylilies are pod fertile..This is one i received from Bill Maryott, and it seems to be very pod fertile..

PREMONITION - planted in September..I will post this one in the spring - if it is still alive? ..A daylily is given the best of everything in my garden and if it is a sissy, then it can't live in my garden.

PREMONITION - This one has a nice bloom and i hope the scape will gain some height this spring..
