Is the old growth dying back when it starts getting cold and then coming back with a month or two something this plant will do every year? What was still potted also died back and now is coming back.If you click the pictures you can see in the first 2 the other planter that i had planned on planting & just never got to it.The first one is when i noticed that the plant was dying back & the last 2 is it coming back.By the amount of leaves in the first picture,it probably started right before it got real cold,which isn't very cold here.We have had a total of maybe 7 nights below freezing.Days stay in the mid 40's to low 50's on a cold day!!

Glad to here the ID is correct and i didn't cause the die back!!
A green thumb comes only as a result of the mistakes you make while learning to see things from the plants point of view!!
