I hope this week is kinder. The wind took away most of the last asiatic flowers that were clinging here. Doug F. is determined to be well for Claremont, and took a rest from entering at Burnie (one of the reasons stems were down). It might just be one of those summers - extreme challenges for folk and flowers!
