Hello everyone.
The Xanthosoma Antrivirens Variegata died due to a plant virus from the information I got about it. I found it in a roadside ditch.
The Calathea makoyana was purchased at the local plant store.
All the rest of my collection were either collected in the wild (some being collected in empty lots, roadside ditches, etc, & some collected in actual jungle) as noted in my other entries in my blog. Comfamiliar-Chilvi is close to the jungle, & the trip back from Ecuador is all jungle.
There will be new entries in my trip back from Ecuador soon as I upload the photos. I also took 2 hours of video of the trip which is basically boring roadside footage of jungle, but I am going to make it available on skydrive. I found 3 or 4 different plants that I have no idea about, a monster sized Philodendron verrucosum as well as an uncolored hairy petiole philodendron which I am sure is related to Philodendron verrucosum , but much of the structure is different. Photos to come soon.
