Searching for "daylilies" takes me directly to the daylilies database page that Lynn described above.

The Daylilies Database

Searching for "Hemerocallis" shows the link to the parent plant, etc. As Calif_Sue says, go into any daylily entry and at the bottom is the link to the parent.

Most conveniently, you can go to the front page of the Plant Database and then over on the right is a little window that has the full list of all the parent database entries. Daylilies is present in that list.

I feel comfortable that the system is working as it should.
