South America is full of amazing plants that we in other climatic conditions would love to grow. That savanna area is extremely rich in flora and fauna but the links are on my kaput machine. Other then that if you want muggy, then look at the flora of Sri Lanka or Far East Asia. Here also links problem or I would have sent them. Do a search of the countries according to the Koppen map and you may find a lot of rot proof plants.
