Last winter 2011 i purchased a small sans plant and it has grown & multiplied til i won't have room next winter to bring them in.This spring will be the 3rd time i've separated it.Here's what it looks like now.

There is 4 or 5 offsets in the plant now and i don't have room,if i could keep them outside it would be great but i live in zone 8 and i don't think they would make it through freezes. They are very pretty, healthy plants.

If i repot them in the early fall into a bigger pot will they stop multiplying? I know some plants will do that when stressed and by fall they are crowded in the pot.Any idea's or advice. If i have to give away babies every spring well that's ok because i love the plant,i love the way it fans out.
A green thumb comes only as a result of the mistakes you make while learning to see things from the plants point of view!!
