I'm on Daytona's barrier island and the lowest its been here this year is 45 degrees. They are big and beautiful and it looks like bloom season isn't far away! But it's only February and they won't start blooming until mid- or late March. This year has actually been cooler than 2012. Last year I never even wore a sweatshirt ... this year I'm wearing them a lot! The cooler weather Is better for us and for the plants.
