Hi Pia, your little lithops are so cute! Thanks for posting your pic, it gives me some idea of when I can expect a bit more exciting growth from mine. I planted these between Christmas and newyear. They got a bit forgotten about in the propagator and got very leggy before I noticed, so much so I was afraid that they would snap. So I added quite a thick layer of sand to try and support them and hoped for the best. I had to transplant them yesterday because the cat knocked everything of my windowsil, it was then that I saw that they seemed to have thickened out above the sand layer and effectively the longer bit of stalk was looking more root like. I'm hoping that they will survive the latest upheaval.....Thumb of 2013-02-09/Eviesmummy/cebf2f
