Thanks, Ladies...

She's still with me, but I don't really know for how much longer. She's having some neurological issues (Doc says) and there are only so many things we can try to help her. So I'm treasuring the bonus days. Looking through those pictures really drives it home, though... the Casey of today compared to the Casey of 2009 are radically different. The first three pics are right after she retired - wasn't she stunning!?!?!?

Writing the post gave me a chance to vent my fears and my grief in a flood of tears, which I sorely needed. We might have 2-3 more years together, but I honestly don't think we will. She'll be 13 in March, and that's a good age for a greyhound. She's been loved unconditionally (and loved me unconditionally) for the last 9 years.

It's time to move into "pamper" mode with her, I think.
