Well, in July, remember that we'll be hiding inside because it'll be at least 100 during the days. When I look back at photos of the garden 5 years ago, I see plants that couldn't make it through the heat and have disappeared. We probably could have made it through the winter without covering plants this winter. It stayed fairly warm. I can only remember a couple of nights when it froze here, and that was just mild freezes.
