Yeah, Lucy, it just seems to go on, and on, doesn't it?

Blue poppies. Nope, I'm no help. I still have last year's container, and I guess a miracle could still happen there, but I rather doubt it will. I think someone mentioned that those just about need to be sown right off the mother plant, so perhaps freshness is the key.

I was thinking about using Bacopa as a background plant this year, but it looks like I might go with lots of Lantana instead. I do, however, like some Bacopa in containers. It did really well here last year... in all our drought-y heat.

I haven't sowed any seeds for a while now, but I'm planning on doing some more today.

I saw the first announcement of impending spring today, and this time it was a brown-headed cowbird. The first migratory arrivals at my feeders are usually the red-winged blackbirds.
At less than 20 degrees right now, I'm not quite ready to do the happy-dance just yet, but soon. Big Grin

Houseplants are going crazy right now. I've one in particular that seems to be reaching out to grab me each time I walk past it. Hilarious! I guess it's responding well to the lengthening days and the fish tank water, eh?
