Another option is to spray the plant with a solution of Configure. I used that on my Echinaceas. I also sprayed a Sempervivum with it. It works in a matter of days. You have to use a stronger dose for Semps. I think I used 400 parts per million. I have photos of my experiments with Configure some place. It worked in 3 days on Echinaceas. The Semp put out numerous offsets in less than a week. I will share the photos when I track them down. The great thing about this method is you don't have to damage your plant and it works quickly.
