Bev I have a small cute pink net book with a wi-fi net connection for my youngest. Fits into any convenient space and has a 500GB hard drive. Duel Atom processor hyperthreaded and full multimedia compliant. 
I give her mine and pinch hers "mean baba, mean baba" 
. 1/3rd the size of a regular lap top she can carry and use it in any position while mine is heavy
