Glad I saw this post! I really wasn't sure because it looks so much like the Euphorbia.
I found Whisk Ferns sprouting up in a couple of my container plants in 2008 and had no clue as to the identity. Someone on DG identified it for me and said that the Whisk Fern is a very primitive plant and has been around for thousands of years!
