Well, it's been a way-too-long of a winter for us here in the Colorado Rockies. Technically, I'm on the edge of the Mountain Shadow over the eastern plains, but I'm closer to the mountains than to the plains. Winter started for us in October (rather early this winter) and hasn't let up.

Until now.

Finally.

I went home and was surveying the front yard, depressed, like always as it's just so..dead looking. And, so I went to check one of my roses and, lo & behold, a hint of a leaf! Is it? Is it Is it Is it?

IT IS!!

The bigger leaf got damaged by the cold snow storm we had on Sunday, but, you can see there's just a breath of a hint of a 2nd leaf! So, prudence tells me to cover it back up and just be patient.

Not my strong point. Big Grin

Here's the leaf. It's on my Paradise Found
